General Assembly HTML/CSS, Web Design Project
Since completing the General Assembly User Experience Design on-campus course, I decided to enroll in the HTML/CSS/Web Design course at General Assembly to further my studies into User Experience. I realized that having the skills in understanding the basics of html and css will help me to work with developers in the future.
the project
For 10 weeks, the purpose of this course is to scaffold different skills in order to complete a final project. Each student is assigned to create their own website using the skills and tools taught throughout the class. For my project, I decided to create a website dedicated for a yoga class in the park that is free to the community.
Website Wireframe
From my UX design experience, I know that it’s important to take steps before creating a final product. Instead of jumping straight into coding and creating a website, I created 4 wireframe pages to help me visualize how exactly I want to code the visual aspect of the website.
